About Our Cabins COME VISIT OUR RUSTIC SLICE OF PARADISE Located on a quiet, wind-protected bay of Lake Pend Oreille, our vacation rental resort offers the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Enjoy a variety of water sports or simply unwind with lazy, sun-filled days. Resort guests can relax, swim, and tan on our sandy beach. Water skiing is fantastic in our calm and sheltered bay—or rent a Sea-Doo, pontoon, or power boat to tour the lake at your own pace. The area also offers plenty of hiking, biking, and shopping opportunities to explore. Just steps away from the cabins, you'll find refreshing cocktails, soft drinks, snacks, and a full-service restaurant serving lunch and dinner lakeside on the deck. CABIN DESCRIPTION The Resort has six duplex cabins overlooking the Bay. Our nicely furnished, rustic log cabins have a queen bed upstairs in the loft, and a sofa bed and trundle couch in the living room downstairs providing enough beds to accommodate a maximum of 5 guests. All units have Roku HDTVs, a downstairs bathroom with a tub/shower combination, a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, kitchen utensils and linens. Cabins do NOT have air conditioning but fans are provided. SERVICES Housekeeping services are not provided during your rental stay. However, dishes, cookware and all linens are provided with the exception of beach towels. There is a washer and dryer conveniently located near the cabins for guest use. A view of the water can be seen from all cabins, which are located about 15 yards from the lake. If you have a boat, a slip in our marina is included with the price of the cabin when requested at time of reservation. Sorry~ no tenting or RV/camper stays for additional guests is allowed. Our Waterfront Cabins Sandpoint offer a unique retreat, with Lakefront Cabins available for guests looking for scenic views and relaxation. We also offer Pet Friendly Cabins, making it easier to bring the whole family. For those on a budget, our Affordable Lakeside Cabins provide comfort without compromise. Enjoy a Cabin Rental Waterfront experience that’s perfect for your next getaway. RATES, DEPOSITS & ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE Our cabin rates are $205.00/night + tax for up to 5 guests maximum. Well behaved pets are welcome at a rate of $15/night plus tax per pet. There is a one-time cleaning fee of $50.00 + tax. Idaho tax is 8% with no other lodging fees. We offer a 10% discount for stays of a week or more. Bring your boat and we will include the slip, launch and trailer parking with your cabin! A deposit equaling half of the rental fee is due at booking to hold the cabin, and in the event of a cancellation within 4 weeks of arrival, the deposit will only be refunded if the cabin can be re-rented, less a $35 processing fee. Credit card transactions will include a surcharge of up to 3.5%. Arrival time is 4:00 PM onward and Departure time is by 10:00 AM. There is no need to Check In as cabin keys are accessed via a lockbox at cabin front door. Please note that the cabins have stairs to the front door and up to the loft inside. About Bottle Bay Resort WELCOME TO BOTTLE BAY RESORT Bottle Bay Resort & Marina sits on 330 feet of the west shore of Bottle Bay- a quiet, wind protected bay shaped like a bottle (hence the name). The Resort is located 3 miles south and 8.5 miles east of Sandpoint, Idaho on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. The town of Sandpoint is a 10 minute ride by boat or a scenic 20 minute drive on Bottle Bay Road along the lakeshore. As a guest at one of our lakeside cabins you can relax on our beach, read a book from your deck or do a little fishing off our Marina boat docks. Bottle Bay Resort has 6 duplex cabins nestled on the hillside overlooking the bay. They are rustic log cabins with beautiful lake views. Each cabin can accommodate up to 5 guests with a queen bed in the upstairs loft, and a sofa bed and a trundle bed in the downstairs living room. Each cabin is stocked with necessary linens and has its own fully equipped kitchen. All cabins have HD Roku TVs and WiFi. The land Bottle Bay Resort now stands on was owned by the Miller Family. In June of 1963 David & Rose Sloan purchased 5 acres and began to develop the resort. They built the first dock and installed the original pilings. Some of them still stand today. The resort offered 2 deluxe trailers and boat gas. It was known as Sloans Ponder Rosa. In 1971 Vic and Sandy Colvard purchased the property and built the store. In 1979 Jim and Joanne Hintz bought the resort and built the present day cabins and the main house. They also installed the on-site well water system. In 1982 Ed & Maureen Tuohy became owners of the resort, and kept their float plane at the boat launch. It was at this time that Bottle Bay Resort & Marina established ownership rights to Bottle Bay Seaplane Base ID54. In 1989 John and Dorette High purchased the resort, expanded the docks, added the restaurant and constructed the laundry and shower building. In 2001 Chip and Julie Houske purchased the resort. The road was paved down to the marina. The docks were redesigned and rebuilt making room for 65 boats. The kitchen was expanded and a dumbwaiter was added.
